Irony: a literary technique, originally used in Greek tragedy, by which the full significance of a character's words or actions are clear to the audience although unknown to the character. 

When you look at the biology, the capabilities, the adaptability, the dominion, it's hard to believe.  When you study the environment, the historic disasters, the ruins, the sphinx, it gets' harder.   But when you consider the time it takes to circle the great attractor, the age of rocks, cities 200 meters under water, Gobekli Tepe and the a comet 12,000 years ago, then it becomes impossible to believe in the Judeo-Christian history of man.  

Jesus may represent a potential, but we are the ones who must achieve such a state.  Democracy was an enlightened vision in 1776, a time without enabling technology that resulted in a Republic, a Stewart of Gondor awaiting the King's return.   For Democracy, that time has come. that moment has arrived, the time of the Flux.  The King has returned.

We can determine the will of the people and enforce their will proportionally, or we can condition the people and enforce our will upon them.   We know this.

Twelve millennia ago a highly evolved civilization flourished on the third rock from the sun, and then suddenly, it didn't.  Did you think that the technology that you are walking around in was created a few thousand years ago?  It wasn't.   The impact of the Rock wiped out most of the population of the planet.  It was a short, sharp, shock and it blew every higher level morphogenetic connection within our species.  This was the Fall.  Not a fall from high technology, a fall from a high state of consciences.
